Ah’Mbuni Seng…

It was long ago, before the darkness fell, casting shadows on the land
Children’s voices sang, joyful rhythms rang in the courts of Ah’Mbuni Seng
In the forest deep creatures great and meek did play
And all the world was bright, there was no fear in sight each day

Ah’Mbuni Seng the Kind, from the Royal Line, of earth and bone the two were formed
As man and woman king, equal in everything, the breath of life shared in their soul
And every new day taught them a new way to dance
In every new dance, beautiful circumstance of Love

Ah’Mbuni Seng, you wear the Rainbow Ring
In your paths will the nations tread

The day they came undone was like every other one, fair and calm and full of hope
But everything had changed, the world was rearranged, Ah’Mbuni Seng discovered pride
It tore them both apart, he called her his lesser part and claimed
That man alone was king, not subject to death’s sting or blame

Paradise, paradise lost, paradise lost and not regained

Ah’Mbuni Seng, you had everything
You gave it up for your pride
